Vacation Week 1 – Camp Flora
I had a hard time deciding which photos to post, so here are a bunch (no pun intended):

Vacation Week 1 – Camp Fauna
I have SO MANY PICTURES from deer camp in VT that I have to break them up into separate posts. This one will be easy since we chased away any animals within a 5-mile radius with all of the noise the kids made. There were a couple of deer sightings that didn’t last long enough to take a photo, and we heard the owls calling to each other one night but didn’t see them. We also saw a few snakes and a zillion frogs. Hopefully I’ll be able to go back without the Noisies sometime soon and see more wildlife.
Vacation Week 1 – Fort Williams
While we were in Maine, we spent an afternoon at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, which is just south of Portland. It was a great choice, because in addition to the beach and tons of rocks to climb on, there were military buildings, a lighthouse, and the ruins of a mansion. It was a beautiful day.
