#3of365 – iPad Artwork

Norah LOVES to color, draw, and write.  And she’s extremely productive.  She creates page after page of drawings which she then presents to me as gifts.  I am forbidden to recycle any of them, so they turn into gigantic piles that add to the mess.  One of the unforeseen benefits of the iPad is that Norah can create drawings with really cool apps where she can draw with glitter, neon, change the background color, and she can save them electronically.  She doesn’t like this photo because of her “crazy hair” and “tired eyes,” but she was proud of her drawing of the two of us.

hello Lori and Norah, neat that you have the iPad, pretty neat isn’t it??

Lori, as for her doodlings and don’t want to recycle, if your ipad can do bluetooth with the computer, is it possible you or her can sent her drawings to the computer harddrive then remove them from the ipad, this way norah can have her art, but on the main desktop or laptop computer to save space on the ipad. (i don’t own an ipad) but also is it possible that you could get a second storage card?? one that she can put her artwork on, and the other one for you and everything else, this way she can still have her artwork and add to the card.

hope all is well with you and Norah.

      Hi Jess –
The electronic storage is no problem. It’s just the paper that piles up. We can archive the drawings from the iPad so she doesn’t have to part with them.
