#4of365 – Locker Room

Norah and Aliya both had swimming lessons this afternoon, and in the rush to get them into the family locker room and changed, I lost track of Adlani.  I could hear him calling me, and luckily he took off his shoes before he got into the locker.  For future reference, locks on lockers do not allow free egress from inside the locker.  Can you imagine fitting into a half-height locker?  Even if I could somehow squeeze in, I would die from claustrophobia.  You probably can’t die from claustrophobia but I’d give myself a heart attack or something.  I guess that’s one cause of death I don’t have to worry about, because unless it’s a meat locker, I’m not going to fit into it.

hehe silly kid, even in high school, i was able to neatly fit in my hallway locker, as long as the door was open. (wonder how many times any elementry or middle schooler has had the door shut on them and they be trapped inside the locker and go unnoticed (hey, why not invent some little tiny panic exit device?!)

hope all is well with Norah and Aliya, be safe you all and do not shut the locker door!
